  • When can I move in?

    If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime.

  • How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

    We require a 15 day written notice before you move out.

  • What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

    We require a current, valid government issued ID (example: driver’s license, state id, or passport)

  • Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

    No, we rent on a month-to-month basis.

  • Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates where my unit is located?

    No. At the time of rental you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit.

  • How do I make a payment?

    You can pay in person, stop in at our office, mail a check, or make a credit card payment through our Website (www.windsorcomselfstorage.com ) or call us over the phone. You may also sign up to have payments automatically charged to a credit or debit card.

  • What forms of payments do you accept?

    Cash, check, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or Diners Club.

  • How do I know how much storage space I will need?

    You can either use our Storage Calculator on our website or call us for assistance. We’re here to help.

  • Do I need to bring my own lock?

    We require tenants to supply their own locks. We do sell high quality, inexpensive disc locks (recommended) in the office.

  • Am I required to have insurance on the items in my unit?

    Yes. We require tenants to provide insurance on all contents stored in their unit. We also offer tenant insurance at affordable monthly rates.

  • Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

    Only DEAD storage is permitted. No animals, food, perishables, liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and biological contaminants may be stored. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
